Mr Manish Sinha, Founder & Chief Technology Officer, PatSeer, called on Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, to discuss the role of patent analytics in strengthening technology policy and strategic technology assessment. The discussion explored how patent intelligence can provide valuable insights into technological capabilities, innovation ecosystems, technology trajectories and emerging technology trends, and its potential applications across various initiatives of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. The interaction also covered PatSeer’s ongoing efforts and support towards strengthening national capabilities in patent analytics and technology intelligence. The meeting was attended by Dr B. Chagun Basha, Chief Policy Adviser; Dr Sruthi Kalyani, Policy Fellow; and Mr Shakun Shan, Digital Initiative Specialist, from the Office of the PSA.
