Director General of CERN, Prof. Mark Thomson, called on Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood to discuss ongoing and future engagements between Indian scientists, institutions and various CERN. The discussion also focused on India's Mega Science Vision-2035 and the insights from the MSV exercise with emphasis on India’s priorities in engaging with mega science projects and accelerating frontier discoveries. The DG-CERN also provided details of CERN's future strategies and experiments. The discussion further explored India's participation in various CERN activities.
