𝗩𝗶𝗴𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮: 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗜 | 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝘀: 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 The third article explores how Physical AI is being adopted and adapted across sectors. In defence, it is advancing autonomous systems across land, air, surface and underwater domains, with applications in navigation, sensor fusion and intelligent robotics for complex and high-risk environments. In healthcare, embodied intelligence is entering the operating room through surgical assistance, computer vision and robotic rehabilitation, highlighting the need for sovereign AI capabilities trained and validated for India’s healthcare ecosystem. The article also examines the societal impact of Physical AI. Indigenous robotic sanitation solutions are reducing human exposure to hazardous environments, while AI, robotics, IoT and sensor-based technologies are advancing precision agriculture, resource management, crop protection, livestock management and data-driven decision-making. Across these applications, the focus is on building safer, more precise, resilient and collaborative systems. Realising this potential will require indigenous innovation, robust infrastructure, skilled talent, responsible governance and sustained human-machine collaboration.
